Arkansas (AR) Medical Marijuana Laws
Voters approved passage of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment, known on the ballot as Issue 6, on Nov. 8, 2016. The measure removes criminal sanctions against those who use medical marijuana under doctor’s orders, although dispensaries and cultivation centers have yet to be developed. Patients who want access to medical marijuana must apply with the state, including a written certification from a physician licensed in the state.
